# Lemuron Creation License (LCL)

## 1. Definitions
**“Lemuron”** refers to the original creator and copyright holder of the Creations.

**“Creations”** refers to all works produced and released by Lemuron, including but not limited to:

* Minecraft datapacks, mods, maps, and builds
* Source code and scripts
* 3D models and textures
* Images and artwork
* Video and audio content
* Game assets and design elements
* Any other digital or physical creative works

**“Modified version”** means any version of a creation that has been altered, remixed, or incorporated into another work. (derivatives)

**“Distribution”** means making a creation available to others in any form, including reupload, offering a download, bundling, or public file sharing. Deploying a creation on a Minecraft server is not regarded distribution.

**“Commercial use”** means any use intended for financial gain, monetization, or commercial advantage. Commercial use” does not include passive platform monetization (such as advertising revenue from videos or streams) where the primary purpose is to showcase or use a creation.

## 2. Ownership
All creations are the intellectual property of Lemuron and are protected by copyright law.
This license grants limited usage rights only. No ownership is transferred. Section 9 may apply.

## 3. Permitted uses

### 3.1 Personal Use
Use any creation for private, non-commercial purposes without restriction.
This includes modifying creations for personal use, provided no modified version is distributed.

### 3.2 Minecraft server use
You are allowed to use creations on private or public non-commercial Minecraft servers, including modified versions, as long as:
* The creation itself is not distributed.
* Clear attribution to Lemuron is provided. (see section 6)

### 3.3 Minecraft modpack inclusions regarding only mods and datapacks
Lemuron datapacks and mods may be included in publicly distributed non-commercial modpacks ONLY if all of the following conditions are met:
* The creation is included in its original, unmodified form, unless an exception listed below is applicable.
* The creation is distributed as part of a complete work.
* Clear attribution to Lemuron is provided. (see section 6)

Generally no files belonging to the datapack/mod may be altered within the modpack unless explicitly permitted by Lemuron. There are three exceptions to this, where modification is allowed:
*Adding structures to the pack/mod or altering structure generation (besides altering the packs/mods own structures) is allowed.
*Modifying loot tables is allowed unconditionally.
*Making compatibility addons between Lemurons packs/mod with other packs/mod is allowed.
*It is recommended that, if parts of a Lemuron datapack/mod need to be modified, an add-on datapack/mod is created, to override the necessary data.

### 3.4 Social media sharing
You may share screenshots, recordings, streams, or other visual representations of both modified and unmodified creations on social media platforms, provided that:
* Clear attribution to Lemuron is provided. (see section 6)
* In case of a modification is it recognizable, which part was the original work of Lemuron.
This includes commercial use as a YouTuber, streamer, blogger or video/text content creator elsewhere, where the main content is to showcase, review, play with or actively use a creation by Lemuron.

## 4. Restrictions
These restrictions apply always unless explicitly permitted by Lemuron in writing. To gain permission refer to section 10.

### 4.1 Redistribute creations
You may NOT distribute any creation, whether modified or unmodified, in a standalone format, bundle or collection. The only exception to this rule is provided in section 3.3.
This prohibition includes the use of any Lemuron datapack in any publicly distributed "datapack-pack" (a collection of datapacks offered for download in a bundled form, which is distinct from a modpack because it can be used on an unmodified client).

### 4.2 Extract or reuse components
You may NOT copy or reuse all of or parts of any creation in other projects.
Studying creations for educational or informational purposes is permitted. Conceptual inspiration without copying protected content does not constitute reuse.

### 4.3 Commercial use
You may NOT use any creation for commercial use without prior written permission from Lemuron (see section 10), except for the use case stated in section 3.4.

### 4.4 AI and Machine Learning Use
You may NOT use any Creation, in whole or in part, for:
* training datasets
* machine learning models
* neural networks
* generative systems
* AI testing, evaluation, or development

This restriction applies even if the resulting system does not store, refer or directly call from the creation data.

## 5. Commercial licensing
Commercial use may be granted through an individual written agreement with Lemuron. Permission may include additional terms, limitations, or fees.
Commercial use is allowed for content creators as specified in section 3.4.

## 6. Attribution
When attribution is required or provided voluntarily, it must:
* clearly name “Lemuron” as the creator, and
* reference the original source via a clickable link where reasonably possible.

## 7. Termination
At Lemuron’s discretion, violations may either be remedied within a reasonable period or result in immediate termination of rights.

## 8. Updates to This License
This license applies in the version published with the creation. Future versions do not apply retroactively unless explicitly stated.

## 9. Third-Party Intellectual Property
Some Creations may reference or rely on third-party intellectual property ("third-party”), such as game platforms, trademarks, or fictional universes. All rights to third-pary remain with their respective owners.
This license grants rights only to Lemuron’s original work and does not grant any rights to third-party IP. Users are responsible for complying with the terms and policies of the relevant third-party IP owner when using any creation.

## 11. No warranty
Creations are provided “as is” without any warranties, express or implied.
Use is at your own risk.

12. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Lemuron is not liable for any damages arising from the use or inability to use any creation, including but not limited to data loss, software crashes, indirect and consequential damages.
