0.2.0 for Fabric 1.21.11
Curse Maven Snippet
What's new
Crashes
- A calmer crash screen: your world's state first, then the likely mod, with one green button to disable it. Going back to the last mods that worked and Minecraft's own report are under More options.
- Crashes while the game starts are caught too: the next start offers to disable the suspect.
- A crash that left no report is diagnosed from the last log, and a game that hung after its crash is closed and gets its report written.
- Forge: a jar whose access transformer would close the game is turned off before Forge loads it.
Lag spikes
- Freezes are split by part of Minecraft (chunks, entities, rendering…) and by resource (GPU, disk, waiting on other threads), with the mods whose code ran and, after a spike, the crowds of entities that caused it.
A new home screen
- The Modkeel button opens tiles for the last crash, worlds, mods, lag spikes and settings, in the new Keel look.
Sharing, only if you choose it
- New "Help other players" box on the crash screen, off by default. "What is sent?" lists every field in plain words, and the exact data is one click away. Nothing is sent unless you tick it. Details: https://modkeel.com/privacy
Verifiable releases
- These jars are built by GitHub Actions from the tagged source, attested, and reproducible: rebuild them and you get the same bytes. See "Verify a release" in the README.
