Spatial Audio and Acoustics
- Replaced the hand-written stereo panner with per-speaker OpenAL Soft 3D streaming sources.
- Added optional headphone HRTF spatialization with automatic fallback to standard 3D audio.
- Added OpenAL output-device enumeration and isolated voice playback in a thread-local OpenAL context.
- Added smoothed multi-ray voice occlusion with OpenAL low-pass filtering.
- Added listener-space environment probes that drive shared early reflections and reverb through OpenAL EFX.
Microphone and Receive-Only Mode
- Added an explicit microphone enable/disable setting to the config screen and setup tutorial.
- Voice connections now remain available for receive-only playback when microphone capture is disabled or unavailable.
Radio PTT Audio
- Added a configurable real radio PTT press sound; release is intentionally silent.
- Release builds can bundle a locally supplied licensed sound asset while source builds retain a generated fallback.
