Modernica is a fork of ModernFix mVUS (https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/modernfix-mvus) and ModernFix (https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/modernfix) for Fabric 26.x which implements multiple new optimizations not found in either the original ModernFix or the mVUS port.
This mod provides all ModernFix patches, which can cut RAM usage in more than half when fully configured, alongside new optimizations that may help on many configurations.
Essentially, Modernica comes with all the features in the original ModernFix, plus new networking optimizations, multi-threading for workbenches (like crafting tables) and a hot-reloading config with Fzzy Config. This means with some options, you may no longer need to restart to test them!
Modernica also implements new NBT optimizations through deduplication, which can save an additional 3-5% RAM in lightly modded scenarios. For larger modpacks it also can optimize Achievements which can add up over time.
Modernica also implements some other patches which are inspired from Paper Patches, which are wired to be compatible with existing mods like C2ME and Fast Noise.
For the best performance, I would recommend looking at downloading a modpack like Simply Optimized Forked, Adrenaline or another lean performance modpack. These modpacks utilize the general best stack available, and you should be able to drop Modernica in-place of ModernFix mVUS.
If you are looking to make your own modpack, I would recommend using the following:
All of these mods should pair well with Modernica!
Modernica completely overrides or includes a part of the functionality of these mods and should not be used with them for compatibility reasons
