Level up a unique skill for every block you mine and every mob you kill to mine faster and deal more damage.
Modern Skills
Every block family and every mob has its own skill. Mine stone and you get better at stone. Kill zombies and you deal more damage to zombies.
How it works
- Breaking blocks grants XP for that block family
- Defeating a mob grants XP for that exact mob
- Each level adds +2% mining speed or damage
- Bonus caps at +60% (level 30)
- Max level is 50
Block families
Variants count together so the menu stays clean:
- Stone, cobblestone, and stone stairs share one skill
- All oak logs / stripped oak / oak wood share one skill
- Each ore is its own skill (iron, diamond, ancient debris, ...)
Menu
Press K to open a modern skills screen:
- Blocks and Mobs tabs
- Search
- Level, XP bar, and current bonus
A toast appears at the top of the screen whenever a skill levels up.
Requirements
- Minecraft 26.2
- Fabric Loader 0.19.5 or newer
- Fabric API
Install this mod on both client and server.
