ModInspector is a simple tool made to answer one question every modded player has asked at least once:
“Why is my game crashing?”
Instead of throwing logs at you, ModInspector scans your mods folder and shows useful information directly in-game. It checks for common problems like incompatible Minecraft versions, wrong mod loaders (Fabric / Forge), missing dependencies, duplicates, and other things that usually end in crashes or weird behavior.
You can open the interface at any time to see the status of your installed mods, with clear indicators for OK, warnings, or critical issues. If something is seriously wrong, ModInspector can warn you early during startup, before you waste time loading into a broken game.
This mod is designed to be lightweight, easy to understand, and useful for both casual players and modpack creators.
No Fabric API required, no complicated setup — just drop it in your mods folder and let it do its job.
It won’t magically fix everything, but it will help you understand what’s wrong before Minecraft does what it does best: crash.
