Description

Baby Mobs!

These little moblets....

They’re smaller.

They’re faster.

and some...they’re more annoying.

Moblets adds juvenile versions of familiar Minecraft mobs that feel like they actually belong in the game. Creepers, Endermen, Witches, Skeletons, Pillagers, Golems, Wandering Traders, Camel Husks and more can now show up in baby form — with custom proportions, behavior tweaks, and special encounters.

Some hit weaker.
Some move faster.
Some spawn with tiny friends.
Some are just absolute chaos.

You'll find baby Pillagers hanging around an outpost, a baby Iron Golem wandering a village, a tiny Wandering Trader with baby llamas, or a baby Camel Husk carrying appropriately tiny riders.

Most supported hostile mobs are uncommon enough to stay surprising, but frequent enough that sooner or later you’ll run into one.

Basically:

Minecraft, but now the mobs have children too.

And yes — the baby Creeper still explodes.

Added to v0.2.0

Adults are threats. Moblets are trouble.

v0.2.0 gives several Moblets their own personalities and behaviors instead of simply being smaller versions of their adult counterparts.

Creeper Moblets

  • Become frightened when a player looks directly at them
  • Defuse while fleeing
  • Run away until they have created some distance
  • Do a startled little jump when they realize they've been spotted
  • Manual ignition still behaves normally

Skeleton Moblets

  • Prefer getting much closer to players before firing
  • Retain their intentionally poor juvenile accuracy
  • Fresh Skeleton Moblets are curious about wolves and will approach them
  • After being bitten by a wolf, they permanently learn that dogs are a terrible idea
  • Once they've learned the lesson, nearby wolves make them run away instead

Enderman Moblets

  • No longer attack players
  • Being stared at still triggers their creepy/screaming reaction
  • After the stare-down, they flee instead of becoming hostile
  • Steal dropped items from the ground
  • Run away with their stolen loot
  • Stolen items are visibly carried in their hands
  • No longer pick up or place blocks

Wandering Trader Moblets

The baby Wandering Trader has discovered commerce.

Unfortunately, he has not discovered economics.

  • Each adult Wandering Trader receives only one baby companion
  • Baby traders approach nearby players and offer a random item
  • Merchandise ranges from ordinary supplies to very rare valuables
  • Ignored offers are retrieved after about five seconds and presented again
  • The same merchandise is reused for each retry
  • Taking the item creates a debt
  • The Moblet waits until you try to leave before following you
  • He then follows annoyingly close until paid
  • Any item you deliberately throw to him counts as payment
  • He takes one item, celebrates with happy trader sounds and green particles, and considers the transaction complete
  • Giving his original merchandise back also counts as payment

Yes, he may theoretically give you something extremely valuable and accept dirt in return.

He is doing his best.
