MobLens

MobLens is a lightweight client-side Fabric mod that lets you inspect the drops of vanilla mobs directly in-game.

Look at a supported mob and press B to instantly see its Normal Drops and Special Drops in your local chat.

Features

• Inspect mob drops without leaving the game

• Shows normal drop amounts and known drop chances

• Separates regular drops from special or conditional drops

• Takes relevant mob states into account when they affect loot

• Supports conditions such as burning, Charged Creeper kills, equipped items, and other special drop rules

• Works entirely on the client side

• Does not send messages to server chat

Overworld Part 1

The first release includes support for:

• Pig

• Sheep

• Cow

• Chicken

• Creeper

• Skeleton

• Zombie

• Enderman

• Spider

• Villager

• Iron Golem

Some mobs also use dynamic loot information. For example, MobLens can account for:

• Adult and baby states

• Sheep color and sheared state

• Saddled pigs

• Equipped mob items

• Enderman carried blocks

• Conditional cooked food drops

• Charged Creeper head and skull drops

• Creeper music disc conditions

How to Use

1. Look directly at a supported mob.

2. Press B.

3. MobLens will display the mob's drop information in your local chat.

The keybind can be changed from Minecraft's Controls menu.

MobLens currently focuses on vanilla mob loot and is being expanded with support for more mobs over time.
