Mob Taunts is a lightweight, highly customizable mod that gives the denizens of your Minecraft world a voice—and they aren't using it to say "hello."

Fully client-side! You are the only one who sees the messages, on any server!

Trash-Talking Mobs: Every mob has a configurable chance to send a taunt directly to the player’s chat when they engage.

Massive Phrase List: Comes pre-packed with dozens of hilarious, mean, and meme-filled taunts inspired by pop culture, gaming history, and community jokes.

Fully Customizable: Want your zombies to recite Shakespeare or your pigs to demand taxes? You can edit the phrases directly in the config file!

Modded Support: The flexible configuration allows you to add any modded entity to the "talkative" list.

In-Game Control: Use the /mob_taunts command to tweak settings like taunt chance and detection range mid-game without needing to restart.

Configuration

You have total control over the mod:

Taunt Chance: Decide if mobs are "silent but deadly" or constant chatterboxes.

Mob Range: Set how close a mob needs to be before it starts hurling insults.

Blacklist/Whitelist: Restrict specific mobs from speaking (or make them the only ones who can).

Mixed Taunts: Allow mobs to use their unique phrases alongside a massive list of generic insults.

Not liking chat spam? Tweak config to display messages in HUD!

Note: Configuration variables (range, chance, etc.) can be changed in-game. To add or edit the actual phrases, please modify the JSON config file while the game is closed!

This mod is fully inspired by Enemy taunts mod for Tmodloader!
