Mob Army Battle

⚔️ Build an Army. Defend Your Team. Fight Your Enemies.

Mob Army Battle is a Server-sided, team-based PvE battle mod inspired by the iconic format popularized by BastiGHG.

During the farming phase, teams gather resources and hunt mobs to build their armies. Once preparation ends, players enter the arena and must survive against the enemy teams' waves of mobs. Defeat the opposing armies and become the last team standing.

🎮 How It Works

The game is divided into three phases:

🌿 ① Farming Phase

Players are placed in a world where they gather resources and kill mobs.

Every mob you kill is added to your team's army.

Work together, collect supplies, and build the strongest force possible before time runs out.

📖 ② Wave Configuration

Once the farming phase ends, each team receives time to organize its army.

Distribute your mobs across three waves and decide when each unit should be deployed.

Planning matters: a powerful first wave might overwhelm enemies early, while saving strong mobs for later can secure victory.

⚔️ ③ Battle Phase

The battle begins.

Each team's army spawns in three waves inside the arena.

Players must fight the armies created by the opposing teams while defending themselves and their teammates.

Use tracker compasses, coordinate with your team, and survive the chaos.

First Team killing all the mobs wins.

Repeated deaths increase your respawn timer, although certain items can reduce the penalty.

Easily distinguish friendly and enemy armies.

Arena Protection

Prevent players from destroying the battlefield.

Play All Waves Mode

Eliminated teams spectate while the surviving teams compete for the highest ranking.

⚠️ Known Issues

This mod is still under active development, and a few bugs are currently known:

Vexes occasionally escape the arena. In some situations, their flight behavior causes them to move outside the intended battle area. Vexes (and any other mobs) can be disabled via the menu opened with the /disabledmobs command.
Games cannot currently be restarted immediately. After a game ends naturally or is stopped using /mobarmy stop, starting a new game without restarting the server is not yet supported. A server restart is currently required before starting another match.

🤖 About This Project

I am not a programmer, and this mod was created with extensive assistance from AI tools.

Normally, I do not support the use of AI in art or in areas that replace human work. I believe creative and technical professions deserve to be valued and supported.

However, I wanted this mod to exist because many Minecraft players, including myself, have enjoyed the Mob Army Battle format popularized by BastiGHG, and no similar mod existed.

This project exists simply because I wanted people to be able to experience and enjoy that game mode with friends.

Nevertheless this took hours and hours of troubleshooting and I put a long time into making this.

THIS IS A VERY EARLY BUILD OF THE MOD! THERE WILL BE BUGS, FEEL FREE TO TELL ME THINGS THAT CAN BE CORRECTED.
