Mo' Bends (Reforged)

Mo' Bends (Reforged) is a revival and enhancement of the classic Mo' Bends mod for Minecraft 1.7.10, preserving the original animated movement experience while introducing backported features, improved animations, modern visual effects, and expanded compatibility.

The goal of this project is to keep the original Mo' Bends experience intact while bringing selected features from newer versions and ensuring the mod continues to work well in modern 1.7.10 modpacks.

New Animations & Improvements

Flying Animations

Backported the flying animations found in newer versions of Mo' Bends, providing smoother and more dynamic movement while airborne.

Ladder Animations

Added ladder climbing animations to improve movement realism and make vertical traversal feel more natural.

Movement Animation Improvements

Updated the walking, running, and jumping animations with smoother transitions and improved motion while preserving the recognizable Mo' Bends style.

Cape Physics

Backported the cape physics system from Mo' Bends 1.12.2.

Capes now move more naturally with player movement, creating a smoother and more modern appearance while remaining faithful to the original design.

Arrow Streak Effects

Added arrow streak visual effects to make projectiles feel faster and more impactful during combat.

Sprint Flying & Sprint Swimming

Added support for sprint flying and sprint swimming, bringing movement features inspired by later Minecraft versions to 1.7.10.

Hats (Reforged)

Added compatibility with Hats (Reforged) to ensure hats render correctly alongside Mo' Bends animations.

3D Skin Layers (Legacy)

Compatible with 3D Skin Layers (Legacy), allowing enhanced player models to animate properly with Mo' Bends.

Wavey Capes (Legacy)

Compatible with Wavey Capes (Legacy) for players who prefer external cape animation systems.

Fisk's Superheroes

Added compatibility with Fisk's Superheroes to improve support for superhero movement and animations.

The Legends Mod

Added compatibility with The Legends Mod to improve animation support for hero abilities, movement, and transformations.

About This Revival

This project focuses on preserving and expanding the original Mo' Bends experience.

Rather than redesigning the mod, Mo' Bends (Reforged) builds upon the original foundation by backporting features from newer releases, improving existing animations, and increasing compatibility with popular 1.7.10 mods.

The core animation system remains familiar to longtime users while benefiting from years of improvements introduced after the original 1.7.10 release.
