Mining Realms
Curse Maven Snippet
What's new
Mining Realms — 1.2.5
- Fresh worlds now receive randomly generated seeds for Overworld Mines, Nether Mines, and End Mines instead of fixed seeds shared by every installation.
- Each mining realm receives a different seed, independent of the main world seed. Creating another world with the same main-world seed produces new mining-realm seeds.
- Seeds are saved with the world and remain unchanged across restarts.
- Existing generated mining realms retain their previous terrain seeds when upgrading from the original releases, including 1.2.4.
- The main Overworld, Nether, and End keep their normal seeds. Portal behavior, recipes, ore integration, and hostile-mob restrictions are unchanged.
- Supports modded ore generation through standard biome world-generation features. Ore availability depends on installed mods and their generation rules.
Install on clients and servers, replacing the previous Mining Realms JAR. Back up existing saves before upgrading. New random seeds apply to fresh realms; this update does not automatically reset existing terrain. Keep the generated data/miningrealms-seeds.properties file with the world when copying or backing up saves.
