🌊 Minenautica — Subnautica in Minecraft

Welcome to Planet 4546B. Minenautica is a 100% free, non-profit fan project that brings the creatures of Subnautica, plus structures exclusive to Planet 4546B, into Minecraft (Fabric 1.21.1). It adds a full ocean planet, dozens of creatures with their original Subnautica models and animations, the colossal leviathans, the Seamoth and the Prawn Suit, and much more.

🪐 The Planet
Planet 4546B dimension. Travel there with /planeta4546b, or create a world with the "Planet 4546B" world type and start directly inside Lifepod 5, just like in the game.
Biomes inspired by Subnautica, each with its own terrain, plants and creatures:
Safe Shallows, Kelp Forest, Grassy Plateaus and Mushroom Forest;
Jellyshroom Cave, Grand Reef, Blood Kelp, Bulb Zone and Underwater Islands;
Mountains, Dunes, Crag Field, Sparse Reef, Sea Treader's Path and Crash Zone;
Lost River, Inactive Lava Zone and Lava Lakes;
Floating Island, Mountain Island and Tree Cove.
The Crater Edge (Dead Zone): the endless dark void at the edge of the map, where something enormous is waiting…

🏗️ Structures (exclusive to Planet 4546B)
Lifepod 5 with a starter kit: crafting table, furnace and two chests with basic tools and supplies.
Abandoned Degasi bases to explore.
Structures and points of interest generated only on this planet.

🌌 Atmosphere and Resources
Underwater atmosphere: custom fog, water caustics, ocean surface rendering and ambient sounds.
Ores generated in the alien rock: coal, copper, iron, gold, redstone, lapis, emerald, diamond (rare near the surface, more common deeper) and netherite only in the lava zones.
Resource outcrops and deposits drop Subnautica materials: titanium, copper, silver, lead, ruby, lithium, magnetite, nickel, kyanite, uraninite, sulfur, salt and quartz.
Alien wood: turns into planks, works as fuel and burns into charcoal.

🐟 Creatures (Subnautica models, textures and animations)
Fish:
Peeper, Bladderfish, Boomerang, Garryfish and Eyeye;
Holefish, Hoopfish, Spinefish, Hoverfish, Reginald, Spadefish, Oculus and Magma Eyeye.
Fauna:
Gasopod, Rabbit Ray, Ghostray, Crimson Ray, Jellyray, Skyray and Floater;
Cave Crawlers, Lava Larva, Bleeder, Mesmer and Crashfish (with its sulfur plant home).
Predators:
Stalker, Sand Shark, Bone Shark and Biter;
Crabsquid, Crabsnake, Lava Lizard, Spine Eel, Ampeel and Warper.
Giants: Reefback (you can walk on its back like a moving island!), Sea Treader and the Sea Emperor (baby and juvenile).
Leviathans: Reaper Leviathan, Ghost Leviathan (adult and juvenile), Sea Dragon Leviathan and the Gargantuan Leviathan.
Unique abilities and custom effects, not vanilla particles:
the Crabsquid's EMP shuts down vehicles;
the Mesmer hypnotizes you;
the Warper teleports;
the Ampeel shocks anything nearby;
the Crashfish explodes;
the Sand Shark buries itself;
the Bleeder latches onto you;
the Gasopod releases toxic gas;
and more.
Vanilla and other mods' sea life (fish, squid, dolphins, drowned, guardians…) also spawns on the planet.

🚤 Vehicles
Seamoth: a fast mini-submarine with its Subnautica model and animations.
Prawn Suit: walk on the seafloor, jump with thrusters, and use the claw and the drill arm.
You never drown while piloting.
Mining underwater is as fast as on land.

🍖 Food and Loot
Every creature drops food, and bigger creatures drop more.
Raw and cooked versions that work in the furnace, smoker and campfire.
Food effects: some meats have bad effects when raw and good effects when cooked. For example:
Lava Lizard meat gives fire resistance;
Reaper meat gives strength;
Gargantuan meat gives a huge buff.
Item textures are made from each creature's real model, so you can tell what you're holding at a glance.

🏆 Extras
Leviathan head trophies: defeat a leviathan to collect its trophy and mount it on your wall.
Custom spawn eggs that look like each creature, all in their own creative tab.

Minenautica is a completely free fan project made out of love for Subnautica. It is not sold, not paywalled and not made for profit. Its goal is simply to bring Subnautica's creatures, and structures exclusive to Planet 4546B, to Minecraft.

About the Subnautica assets: the creature models, textures and animations in this mod were taken directly from Subnautica. They were not redrawn or restyled. The only work done on them was technical adaptation, so they could be converted and made to load and run in Minecraft. All rights to these models, textures and designs belong to Unknown Worlds Entertainment, and they are used here for free, with no commercial purpose.

Third-party work and what changed:
• Gargantuan Leviathan: derived from the Subnautica mod "Return of the Ancients" by the Architects of the Unknown team, licensed under CC BY-SA. I modified the model and adapted it to Minecraft. Only the Gargantuan was taken from that mod; nothing else from it is used here. My modified version of these assets remains under CC BY-SA.
• Vehicle system (Seamoth / Prawn Suit): based on the SubCraftica pack by hashimsucks, licensed under ARR. I changed the models and adapted the code to this project.

Original to this project: the Planet 4546B dimension, biomes, world generation, structures, creature behavior and abilities, the food/loot system, trophies and spawn eggs.

Estruturas e pontos de interesse que só aparecem neste planeta.

🌌 Clima e Recursos
Clima de fundo do mar: neblina própria, reflexos de luz na água, superfície do oceano e sons ambientes.
Minérios na rocha alienígena: carvão, cobre, ferro, ouro, redstone, lápis, esmeralda, diamante (raro perto da superfície e mais comum no fundo) e netherite só nas zonas de lava.
Afloramentos e depósitos que soltam materiais do Subnautica: titânio, cobre, prata, chumbo, rubi, lítio, magnetita, níquel, cianita, uraninita, enxofre, sal e quartzo.
Madeiras alienígenas: viram tábuas, servem de combustível e viram carvão vegetal.

🐟 Criaturas (modelos, texturas e animações do Subnautica)
Peixes:
Peeper, Bladderfish, Boomerang, Garryfish e Eyeye;
Holefish, Hoopfish, Spinefish, Hoverfish, Reginald, Spadefish, Oculus e Eyeye de Lava.
Fauna:
Gasopod, Rabbit Ray, Ghostray, Raia Carmesim, Jellyray, Skyray e Floater;
Cave Crawlers, Larva de Lava, Bleeder, Mesmer e Crashfish (com a toca de enxofre).
Predadores:
Stalker, Tubarão-de-Areia, Bone Shark e Biter;
Crabsquid, Crabsnake, Lagarto de Lava, Spine Eel, Ampeel e Warper.
Gigantes: Reefback (dá para andar nas costas dele como uma ilha que se move!), Sea Treader e o Sea Emperor (filhote e juvenil).
Leviatãs: Leviatã Ceifador (Reaper), Leviatã Fantasma (adulto e juvenil), Leviatã Dragão-do-Mar e o Leviatã Gargantuan.
Habilidades únicas e efeitos próprios, sem partículas padrão do Minecraft:
o PEM do Crabsquid desliga veículos;
o Mesmer hipnotiza;
o Warper teleporta;
o Ampeel dá choque em quem chega perto;
o Crashfish explode;
o Tubarão-de-Areia se enterra;
o Bleeder gruda em você;
o Gasopod solta gás tóxico;
e mais.
Vida marinha do Minecraft e de outros mods (peixes, lulas, golfinhos, afogados, guardiões…) também aparece no planeta.

🚤 Veículos
Seamoth: minissubmarino rápido, com o modelo e as animações do Subnautica.
Traje Camarão (Prawn Suit): anda no fundo do mar, pula com propulsores e usa a garra e a broca.
Você não se afoga enquanto pilota.
Minerar debaixo d'água é tão rápido quanto em terra.

🍖 Comida e Drops
Toda criatura dá comida, e bichos maiores dão mais.
Versões crua e assada, que funcionam na fornalha, no defumador e na fogueira.
Efeitos nas comidas: algumas carnes têm efeitos ruins cruas e bons assadas. Por exemplo:
a carne do Lagarto de Lava dá resistência ao fogo;
a do Reaper dá força;
a do Gargantuan dá um bônus enorme.
Texturas dos itens feitas a partir do modelo real de cada criatura, para saber de qual bicho é só de olhar.

🏆 Extras
Troféus de cabeça dos leviatãs: derrote um leviatã para ganhar o troféu e pendurar na parede.
Ovos de spawn personalizados com a cara de cada criatura, todos numa aba própria do criativo.

O Minenautica é um projeto de fã totalmente gratuito, feito por amor ao Subnautica. Não é vendido, não tem conteúdo pago e não visa lucro. O objetivo é apenas trazer as criaturas do Subnautica, e estruturas exclusivas do Planeta 4546B, para o Minecraft.
