  • Continuous Infinite Rotation: Rewrote the 3D physics engine interpolation to use shortest-path angular wrapping. If fed looping values, fixtures can now seamlessly spin in one direction forever without snapping back.
  • Smooth Movement Physics: Implemented exponential decay interpolation across all channels, resulting in incredibly smooth, realistic, and club-accurate fixture movements.
  • Realistic Laser Projections: Completely overhauled the laser block to project a true-to-life, 21-beam "Laser Sky" fan effect.
  • Accurate Hitboxes & Placements: Fixed directional block placement so static fixtures (like Accent Lights and Wash Bars) sit perfectly flush against walls and ceilings, snapping their hitboxes and models correctly based on the block face they are placed on.
  • Beam Block Collision: Fixed an issue where volumetric light beams would pass straight through walls and solid blocks. Beams now accurately calculate distance and terminate correctly upon hitting solid geometry.
  • Improved Shader Compatibility: Overhauled the spotlight glow rendering to fix a bug where glow colors would shift, blowout, or turn white when the player's camera got too close. Glows now use standard emissive rendering, perfectly preserving their true color while maximizing compatibility with Iris Shaders and the Colorful Lighting mod.
  • Optimized Network Processing: Upgraded the UDP receiver to natively process high-frequency "effect" streams while aggressively stripping out backend logging to maintain flawless tick rates during complex light shows.
  • Lumina Spot Protocol Integration: Completely rewrote the UDP networking stack to natively parse Lumina Spot's custom JSON payload format.
  • Bi-Directional Placement Syncing: MineDMX now seamlessly broadcasts fixture placement data (including relative positions, IDs, and fixture types) back to Lumina Spot on placement, ensuring your virtual stage stays perfectly in sync with your Minecraft world.
  • Global Command Support: Added native parsing for global UDP commands (like blackout and full_on) to instantly kill or trigger every fixture in the network simultaneously.
  • Streamlined Port Configuration: Updated the default UDP ports to match Lumina Spot's ecosystem out of the box (Port 7777 for incoming DMX data, and Port 7778 for outgoing layout broadcasts).

Lumina Spot (Companion App)

  • macOS Support: Lumina Spot is now officially supported on macOS, bringing the full lighting console experience directly to your Mac.
  • Built-in Effects Engine: Added a powerful new effects system featuring Pulse, Flicker, Disco (smoothly roams pan/tilt and shifts color), Scan Pan, Scan Tilt, Circle, Spin Pan, and Spin Tilt.
  • Live 30fps Sync: Effects are continuously calculated and blasted over UDP to Minecraft at 30 frames-per-second, producing perfectly smooth live animations.
  • Dynamic Effect Controls: New Speed and Intensity sliders intelligently appear in the Fixture Editor whenever an effect is selected to give you granular control over the animation.
  • Infinite Arrow-Key Spinning: Arrow-key nudging now seamlessly wraps Pan and Tilt values. Simply hold down the left or right arrow keys to continuously spin a physical light forever!
  • Animated Previews: Both the 3D Stage Preview and the floating 2D Projector Output now fully animate your effects in real-time, right on your Mac.
  • Cue Persistence Fix: Fixed a major bug where applying saved cues would forcefully revert newly placed fixture types (like Lasers) back into standard Spotlights. Cues now strictly apply DMX values without destroying your patch list.
  • Cleaned-Up Stage View: Removed the restrictive fake floor and truss cylinder from the 3D preview, leaving a clean, unobstructed grid.
  • Bulk Editing Support: You can now multi-select fixtures (using Shift-Click or Command-Click) in both the sidebar and the 3D stage preview to tweak settings for groups of lights simultaneously!
  • Multi-Fixture Nudging: Arrow-key nudging now fully supports multi-selection, allowing you to seamlessly reposition entire arrays of moving heads and lasers at the same time.
  • Fixture-Specific 2D Rendering: Replaced the generic moving-head icon for static fixtures. House lights, wash bars, accent lights, and lasers now draw using customized 2D shapes on the stage preview so you can easily tell them apart.
  • Contextual UI Controls: The Pan and Tilt faders are now automatically hidden for static lights, and arrow-key nudging is ignored to prevent accidental edits to fixtures that cannot physically move.
  • Bulk Identify: The "Identify" sequence now correctly triggers across all highlighted fixtures instead of just one.
