Crossbread currently features eight hybrids, each with its own abilities, habits, and personality. Ride them into battle, discover new ways to explore, or bring some unusual company to your farm. This is just the beginning: more combinations, texture variants, unique behaviors, and practical uses are planned.

• Roostersteed - Horse + Chicken: Take exploration to new heights with a double jump, then spread its wings and glide safely back down. This rideable hybrid can also peck enemies while you’re mounted. Comes in four appearances: original, white and gold, copper and black, and speckled brown.
• Ramsteed - Horse + Sheep: A woolly mount built for charging. Rush forward to damage and knock back enemies, or smash into a breakable block with its horns. When things are quiet, you may catch it scratching its horns against nearby wood.
• Haresteed - Horse + Rabbit: A fast mount with powerful jumps and a strong forward boost. Clear obstacles, cross rough terrain, and land safely thanks to its immunity to fall damage.
• Buzzhowl - Wolf + Bee: A flying companion and mount with a venomous sting. Throw a stick for it to fetch, watch it circle you after feeding, or let its occasional pollen sneezes help nearby crops grow.
• Honeyhorn - Cow + Bee: Explore from the air on a striped flying cow. It visits flowers, dances to draw nearby bees toward them, and takes a well-earned rest after collecting nectar. At night or during rain, it can even squeeze into a beehive for shelter.
• Bristlehop - Pig + Rabbit: A small farm companion with a soft spot for carrots. It naps near carrot crops, twitches its ears when tempted with food, and moves around your fields without trampling farmland.
• Cluckclaw - Cat + Chicken: An agile fighter that dodges incoming attacks, then launches a guided pounce toward its attacker. It can chase enemies while pecking or scratching, stalk dropped seeds, and groom its feathers when relaxed. Comes in four appearances: orange, charcoal black, silver tabby, and calico.
• Crowfang - Wolf + Chicken: A swift tamed companion that bites fast and hits hard. It sits on command, pounces at mid-range targets, and takes short low flights when calm. Comes in four appearances: copper, ashen, russet, and midnight.
