# Meteor Strike
Call the sky down with a single command.
**Meteor Strike** adds `/meteor` — a flaming meteor streaks in from a random sky direction, slams into the block you're looking at, and detonates a configurable blast. Where it lands it carves a crater lined with a fresh formation of **dark stone** (deepslate, blackstone, tuff, basalt) shot through with **randomly mixed valuable ore**.
## Features
- **`/meteor [size] [pos]`** — drop a meteor on your crosshair target, an exact position, or the default spot
- **Configurable blast size** — set the radius right in the command (clamped to a config max)
- **Comes from any sky direction** — random compass bearing and incoming angle, with a fiery fire/smoke/lava trail
- **Real crater** — a bowl carved to a configurable depth ratio and lining thickness
- **Ore formation** — every crater is lined with dark stone laced with random ore nodes: coal, copper, iron, gold, redstone, lapis, emerald, diamond, and a rare **netherite core** deposit at the bottom
- **Fully tunable** — default/max size, spawn height, incoming angle, speed, crater depth, ore density, and per-ore rarity weights in `config/meteorstrike-common.toml` (or the in-game config screen)
Requires **cheats / op (permission level 2)** to run the command.
