Fix movement packet compatibility issues in Minecraft 26.3 while keeping your favorite client mods!

Meteor Packet Fix is an experimental, lightweight, client-side Fabric mod designed to improve movement packet compatibility with Minecraft 26.3 servers, including PaperMC.

It was developed to address the frustrating "Invalid move player packet received" disconnections that can occur when using packet-based movement features in Meteor Client.

📦 Installation

1. Install Fabric Loader for Minecraft 26.3.

2. Install Meteor Client and its required dependencies.

3. Download Meteor Packet Fix.

4. Place the .jar file inside your Minecraft mods folder.

5. Launch Minecraft.

⚙️ Commands

Use /mpfix help to see the available commands.

Useful commands include:

• /mpfix status — Display the current configuration and diagnostics.

• /mpfix compat — Check detected mod versions.

• /mpfix safe on — Enable safe mode.

• /mpfix safe off — Disable safe mode.

• /mpfix export — Export diagnostic information.

✅ Tested Functionality

The mod has successfully loaded alongside Meteor Client, Sodium and Iris. Criticals Packet was tested successfully on a private PaperMC 26.3 server without the previously experienced disconnection.

Arrow Dodge Packet compatibility and broader server support require further testing.

⚠️ Important Notes

This is an experimental release (v0.1.0).

• It does not guarantee protection against all kicks or bans.

• It does not disable server-side anti-cheat systems.

• Compatibility with every server, mod combination or future Minecraft version is not guaranteed.

• Some packet-based features may remain incompatible with server-side movement validation.

• Use responsibly and respect the rules of multiplayer servers.

Meteor Client Compatibility

Meteor Packet Fix is designed to work alongside Meteor Client, but Meteor Client is not distributed through CurseForge.

To use the Criticals Packet and Arrow Dodge compatibility features, install a compatible version of Meteor Client separately.

Tested with Meteor Client 26.3-14.
