Metallic Tinkering

Metallic Tinkering is a thingpack for Tinkers' Construct that adds all the materials supported in the base mod, but require a separate mod to obtain.

Features:

There are currently 10 ores and 6 alloys, leading to a total of 13 materials!

Crude Iron: Crafted with raw iron and 2 of either coal or charcoal. Smelt some to get steel ingots. (Functions as raw steel basically)
Coal Nugget: Eight are crafted from one coal. Each smelts one item.

Can I use it in a Modpack?

Can you add other materials?

I cannot guarantee it, but you can suggest almost any materials. If it were to make sense in this pack, it could be included.

How do 10 ore and 6 alloys lead to 13 materials?

Nickel, Tin, and Zinc are used to make alloys. Also, while Uranium and Brass aren't materials, they make Necronium and Plated Slimewood respectively.

Any current plans for the mod?

I'm eventually going to make all the materials work with armor trims (This will not be in the mod for a long while, it isn't very high priority).
Nicrosil has been revealed as a supported material, so if that gets added, there will be support from me for it. However, it is not guaranteed Tinkers' will even add it in the first place.
Better textures. This has been something that has been slowly improving over the course of the mod's life, but just know that there will be texture changes in most upcoming updates.
Adding already supported materials to other tool parts. For example, Aluminum is only currently used in bows and armor, but I could potentially make it support tools.
I am considering gems like Ruby, Aquamarine, Peridot, etc.

Anything that is NOT going to be added?

Bad Fantasy Metals and Alloys. An example of good fantasy metals incorporated into Tinkers' is Mythic Tinkers by Derekahedron. (This mod is for Alex's Caves btw)
Treated Wood. It is natively supported by Tinkers', but the process of obtaining it is too complicated to warrant its inclusion. If someone explains a much simpler way of obtaining it, then it could be added.
Backports. I will only make and maintain versions 1.20.1 and above.
Fabric isn't even an option, as Json Things and Tinkers' are Forge and Neoforge only.
