Meridian v1.1.0-beta.2
Curse Maven Snippet
What's new
This beta is all about enchantments — a major expansion of what you can find on the enchanting table, covering every item type from weapons and tools to shields, tridents, mounts, and even spyglasses. A handful of economy and curse enchantments round out the pool.
Added
- Weapons: Reap, Mark, and Volley offer new combat options for melee and ranged fighters.
- Tools: Kiln, Meticulous, Trailblaze, Dowse, and Twin Hook expand the crafting and exploration toolkit.
- Armor: Winterward, Umbral, and Stormward add protective options for different environments and situations.
- Shields & Elytra: Stagger and Bullrush for shields; Tailwind and Falconstrike for elytra.
- Tridents & Ranged: Undertow and Torrent for tridents; Pin and Skyfall for bows and crossbows.
- Mounts & Utility: Wavestride and Endurance for mounts; Groom, Verdure, and Clearsight as general utility picks.
- Economy: Thrift and Alchemist's Draw reduce costs in different ways; Curse of Toll and Curse of Dissonance add new economy-targeting curses.
- Aquatic: Ballast and Abyssal for underwater play, alongside the new Curse of Waterlogging.
- Spyglass: Spyglasses are now enchantable — Tracker's Lens is the first enchantment for them.
- Attunement: A new shelf-bound repair enchantment that mends items using the shelf network.
- Curses: Eleven new curses spread across item types that previously had no curse coverage.
- Audit command: A new client-side command lets you inspect third-party enchantments registered by other mods.
Fixed
- Curse of Molting no longer shows a brief visual glitch (fizzle flicker) on the client when the effect is cancelled server-side.
