Lost Memory is a psychological horror mod for NeoForge 1.21.1. 

The world looks normal until it doesn't. A sign appears outside your front door. A footstep crosses a room you just left. Someone is standing at your window, and when you look back they're gone.

Features

Sanity system

• Your mind slips as you play, and a sanity meter tracks it.
• As it drops, you hear sounds that aren't there
• At very low sanity your bed refuses you at night. You can't close your eyes.

A stalker that learns your home

• It notices where you live and starts visiting while you're away.
• You come back to find signs outside your door that face you and call you by name, paper notes on the floor, doors opened or slammed shut, chests opening, torches turned to soul fire, and carved pumpkins left in the yard with their faces turned toward you.
• Over time it gets bolder and shows up while you're home.

The Shadow

• Your Asking To Much... He Doesnt Like That...

Atmosphere

• Chat messages
• Occasional bursts of static.
• Blindness during the worst moments
• Footsteps, knocking, heartbeat and jumpscares.

Nothing is constant. Every event runs on random timers, scales with how long you've survived, and is more likely at night. You never know when it's coming.

• Singleplayer or multiplayer

Notes

• The mod places a few things in your world (signs, notes, soul torches, pumpkins) and doesn't destroy your builds.
• Designed for streaming and video. Test commands are available for creators:
  /lostmemory haunt, /lostmemory chase, /lostmemory bedside, /lostmemory treepeek, /lostmemory windowpeek, /lostmemory effect
