Description
Meliora is a mod that aims to slightly improve the existing end dimension in Minecraft. It adds in a new endgame armour set, a new boss and methods in which to obtain wood, cobblestone and other basic materials to enhance the experience of surviving in the end.
"AttributeFix" is recommended for this mod in order to remove Minecraft's limit on armour values.
Features:
Endgame Gear
Terminus is the endgame gear that Meliora adds. It is created by combining netherite gear with a terminus ingot into a smithing table. To acquire a terminus ingot, you must combine 4 enderite clusters, obtained from enderite ore,1 obsidian and 4 shulker shells.
Enderite Ore
Throughout the end islands. sealed enderite ore will generate. This ore can not be mined yet until the seal is broken by an awakened purpur staff. Once the seal is broken, it can be mined with a netherite pickaxe to drop enderite clusters.
Purpur Staffs
The purpur staff is crafted with 3 chorus planks, two sticks and one purpur block. By right clicking on a soul campfire with it, the staff can be awakened. A normal staff can convert end stone into cobblestone in order to create stone tools and an awakened staff can break the seal of enderite ore to mine it.
Structures
In the middle of a pedestal structure found in the end is a special block that can be right clicked with an amethyst shard. Once the amethyst shard is placed in, the new boss will spawn on top: Shulker Boss.
The shulker boss upon defeat drops 3 shulker shells and a shulker chestplate, providing extremely large amounts of defense, knockback resistance and toughness while also making the player really slow.
As it stands, I am planning to add more content and uses to already existing items, however this might take a while as this is only a side project for fun and I am not that good at modding.
