A Fabric port of Mekanism.

Mekanism Fabric is an unofficial port of Mekanism for Minecraft 1.20.1 on Fabric, maintained by Brixel9331.

Based on Mekanism’s original Minecraft 1.20.1 codebase, this project brings its industrial machinery, resource processing, automation, and advanced equipment to Fabric. Build your way from a few basic machines to an interconnected factory, with increasingly powerful tools and technology along the way.

The mod features:

Upgradeable machines and factories for automated resource processing.
Advanced ore processing chains that increase your resource yield.
Energy storage and networks for transporting power, items, fluids, and chemicals.
Equipment such as the Atomic Disassembler, MekaSuit, and hydrogen-powered jetpack.
Digital Miners, teleporters, and robotic companions called Robits.

Matching Fabric versions of Mekanism Generators, Mekanism Tools, and Mekanism Additions provide optional extra content and require the core mod.

To install, use Minecraft 1.20.1, Java 17 or newer, Fabric Loader 0.18.2 or newer, and Fabric API 0.92.6+1.20.1 or newer for Minecraft 1.20.1. Place the mod and Fabric API in your mods folder. For multiplayer, install them on both the client and server.

The required supporting libraries are bundled with the core mod, including Fabric Permissions API 0.3.1; they do not need to be installed separately.

This port is independently maintained and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or supported by the official Mekanism team.

Mekanism was created by Aidan C. Brady and developed by the Mekanism team and contributors. Credit for the original code, gameplay, artwork, and other inherited assets belongs to their respective creators.

Mekanism and this port are distributed under the MIT License. The original copyright notice—Copyright (c) 2017–2023 Aidan C. Brady—is preserved. Use, modification, redistribution, and inclusion in modpacks are permitted under the license, provided the required copyright and permission notices are retained.

Bundled libraries retain their respective licenses and credits: Fabric Permissions API, Team Reborn Energy, Porting Lib, and Forge Config API Port. Fabric Permissions API’s original MIT copyright and license notice is included in the distributed JAR.

Report bugs, crashes, and compatibility problems to this Fabric port’s issue tracker. Please do not submit issues concerning this port to the original Mekanism repository or ask the upstream team to support it.

When reporting an issue, include your Minecraft version, Mekanism Fabric version, Fabric Loader and Fabric API versions, relevant logs or crash reports, and steps to reproduce the problem.
