What's new

v20.1-1.0.4

  • Large machines are back on MoreMachine's native operation count: 4 x vanilla speed upgrades x 2^vanilla speed upgrades per tick, with Empowered Speed adding 4 x vanilla speed upgrades x 2 x 2^empowered speed upgrades. Sixteen vanilla Speed upgrades give 4,194,304 operations per tick again, instead of the 448 that 20.1-1.0.2 and 20.1-1.0.3 produced.
  • Large machines now have a per-operation price ceiling of floor(2,147,483,647 / input tank size) x (1 - offset progress). One full tank therefore costs at most 2,147,483,647 FE, and about a quarter of that at the default 1.0 / 0.5 offsets.
  • The Large Electrolytic Separator receives the same compensation on its fixed-usage energy container: 400 -> 89 FE per operation at zero offsets, 400 -> 22 FE at the defaults.
  • The operation count is clamped at 1,073,741,696 per tick and the "energy per tick never exceeds the buffer" clamp is unchanged, so the integer maths cannot wrap.
  • Normal machines are untouched: no compensation, the existing speed and energy curves still apply.
  • README rewritten: player-facing formulas, measured numbers, and a per-version changelog.

Requires Mekanism 10.4.16+ and Kotlin for Forge 4.12+; large machines need MoreMachine 1.2.x. Only supports Minecraft 1.20.1 with Forge 47.4+.
