Introduction
Meb's Mines is a slow play PvP / PvE centered mod that adds numerous types of landmines to the game. This mod includes:
- 8 different mine types
- unique abilities
- survival friendly recipes and recipe unlocks
- balanced crafting
- PvP and PvE variations
Mine Types
AP/AE Mine - Standard landmine that has an explosion radius of 4. The activation time is 20 ticks (1 second) so escape is possible but difficult. Good for trapping your base… or someone else's! Comes in player-only mode or anti-entity mode.
Camouflaged Mine: Grass - Same as standard landmine, but disguised to fit well in grass environments. Anti-player only.
Camouflaged mine: Stone - Same as standard landmine, but disguised to fit well in stone environments. Due to its rocky casing, this mine only has an explosion radius of 3. Anti-player only.
Lava Mine - Rather than explode, this mine unleashes a bucket of lava on its target. Due to its low range, this variant has a 10 tick (half second) delay. Both anti-player and anti-entity is available.
Large Mine - This mine is a larger but more expensive version of the standard mine. The blast radius is 6 and the activation delay 30 ticks (1.5 seconds). Expect a big boom! Anti-Player mine and Anti-Entity mine available.
Dummy Mine - This mine casing is incredibly cheap to produce but, as its name suggests, contains no explosives. Mix these in with your real mines to scare away ne'er do wells without wasting all your resources! Once you acquire adequate supplies, you can pick them back up and convert them into real AP/AE Mines.
Features
- Mines can be defused by right-clicking them. This allows for safe removal if you decide to relocate them.
This mod can both be used for base defense and sabotage, balanced well to fit in with large modpacks or a vanilla+ experience. To my knowledge, it is compatible with almost every mod. Have fun and please do contact me regarding any issues or ideas!
