McHeli Wingman is an addon for McHeli (Minecraft Forge 1.12.2) that adds AI wingmen, UAV range extension, marker-based base configuration, and a full autonomous flight mission system.
Does not modify any McHeli weapon stats.
Requirements
| Version | |
|---|---|
| Minecraft | 1.12.2 |
| Forge | 14.23.5.2847+ |
| McHeli | 1.1.4 |
Features
UAV Range Extension
Removes McHeli's default UAV communication range limit. UAVs remain fully controllable at any distance from the UAV station.
AI Wingman (CCA)
Assign any McHeli aircraft as a wingman. Wingmen fly in formation and engage targets on command.
- Formation flight with freely configurable spacing (side / altitude / rear offset)
- Up to 64 wingmen per aircraft
- Coordinated attack on a designated target
- Auto-attack mode — automatically engages nearby hostile mobs
- Weapon type selection and altitude limits (min/max Y)
Open the wingman panel with Numpad 0 to control formation spacing and issue combat orders (Auto / Hold) without commands.
Marker Blocks
Place marker blocks in the world to register geographic data for autonomous flight. Right-click a marker to open its configuration GUI. Change the type with /wingman marker type.
| Type | Description |
|---|---|
base |
Base anchor — parent marker that groups all child markers |
parking |
Parking spot |
runway_a |
Runway end A — takeoff start / landing end |
runway_b |
Runway end B — touchdown zone |
waypoint |
Aerial cruise waypoint |
helipad |
Vertical takeoff/landing pad for helicopters and VTOL aircraft |
helipad_b |
Helipad heading reference marker |
Each marker type has its own distinct texture.
Taxi Routes
Configured in the Taxi Routes tab of the BASE marker GUI. Defines the ground path an aircraft follows from its parking spot to the runway or helipad before takeoff, and back after landing.
Autonomous Flight Missions
Issue a mission order to any McHeli aircraft and it will execute the full sequence automatically. You can remain on board — throttle and heading are controlled automatically during autonomous flight.
Supported types: fixed-wing, helicopter, VTOL
Example mission flow:
- Taxi from parking spot
- Take off from runway A (helicopters and helipad-parked VTOL aircraft use vertical takeoff)
- Cruise through designated waypoints
- Enter attack orbit over target area (ON_STATION → STRIKE_PASS)
- Auto-RTB when fuel is low or time limit is reached
- Land, touch down, and return to parking
