McAutomate is a client-side Fabric mod that lets you record gameplay actions and replay them in a loop. Automate repetitive tasks while keeping control through customizable keyboard or mouse shortcuts.
Features
- Record movement, camera rotation, jumping, sneaking and sprinting.
- Capture attacks, mining, item use, block placement and hotbar selection.
- Replay your recording once or repeat it in a loop.
- Keep recording and playing back actions after Alt+Tab or minimizing Minecraft.
- Automatically save your latest recording between game sessions.
- See the current mode, elapsed time and loop count on screen.
Default controls
| Key | Action |
|---|---|
| F6 | Start recording / finish and save |
| F7 | Play once |
| F8 | Start / stop looping |
| F9 | Stop recording or playback |
| Esc | Stop and open the pause men |
All mod shortcuts can be changed in Minecraft’s Controls settings, including binding them to mouse buttons. To stop playback running in the background, return to Minecraft and press your stop key.
How to use
Enter a world and press F6. Perform the actions you want to record, then press F6 again. Use F7 to replay the recording once or F8 to repeat it.
Requirements
Minecraft Java Edition 1.21.8, Fabric Loader 0.16.14 or newer, and Fabric API.
Recording scope
McAutomate replays player inputs. It does not reset the world or teleport you back to your starting position, so results depend on your surroundings and starting position.
Inventory, chest and other menu interactions are not recorded. Opening a menu, dying, sleeping, changing worlds or disconnecting stops the macro.
