MCA Social Expansion v0.4
The v0.4 update is here! This version brings major visual improvements, immersive crafting systems, and a massive rewrite of the familiar logic to ensure the best possible simulation experience.
New Features and Additions
New Item: Social Card
A new way to interact with villagers has been added, geared towards rustic role-playing games.
It features its own unique graphical interface with textures and buttons.
"Morphing" System (Live Item Conversion)
A hidden slide-out menu (gear button) has been added to the social interfaces.
Immersive Crafting: You can now convert the Cell into a Card directly from the interface by spending resources from your inventory (4 paper and 1 leather).
You can reassemble the Cell by spending 7 iron ingots, 1 redstone, and 1 glass pane.
Family Dialogue Expansion
Exclusive text banks have been added for interacting with your children once they reach adulthood, adapted to Spanish (Spain), Spanish (Latin America), and English (USA).
Gift "Suspicion" System
Adult family members will now react with skepticism or suspicion if you overwhelm them by giving them more than two consecutive gifts in a single day.
Bug Fixes
[Critical] Genetic Shield Patch: Fixed an immersion-breaking bug where adult children would lose their "minor" status and the system would treat them as regular NPCs, enabling romantic dialogue (e.g., "My love"). The mod now directly reads DNA (NBT fatherUUID/motherUUID) to apply a permanent romance block to the bloodline.
Narrative Fix for Children's Gifts: Fixed a bug where children with the "Ambitious" or "Proud" personalities would call diamonds and emeralds "their favorite treat." Children now only become obsessed with cakes and cookies; expensive minerals will be treated as a good standard gift until they grow up.
Game Pause Fix: Fixed a bug where opening the Social Card would pause time in single-player games. It now opens in real time, just like the Cell Phone.
