MCA Reborn x Easy Villagers Compat
MCA Reborn x Easy Villagers Compat is an unofficial compatibility addon for Minecraft Comes Alive Reborn and Easy Villagers.
It allows MCA Reborn villagers to be captured, stored, displayed, used inside Easy Villagers blocks, and restored back into the world while preserving their original identity and character data.
Normally, using MCA villagers with Easy Villagers can cause issues such as villager duplication, data loss, MCA villagers turning into vanilla villagers, or visual rendering bugs. This mod fixes those problems by making Easy Villagers handle MCA villagers correctly.
Features
- Allows MCA Reborn villagers to be picked up using Easy Villagers.
- Restores the original MCA villager instead of converting it into a vanilla villager.
- Preserves important MCA data, including appearance, name, gender, personality, genetics, family, relationships, profession, and other character information.
- Prevents villager duplication and placement issues.
- Correctly consumes the villager item when placing the villager back into the world.
- Shows the real MCA villager appearance in the inventory, hotbar, GUI, and supported Easy Villagers blocks.
- Supports Easy Villagers blocks such as Trader, Auto Trader, Breeder, Farmer, Converter, Incubator, and Iron Farm.
- Keeps selected professions from Easy Villagers trading blocks when the villager returns to the world.
- Prevents MCA villagers from opening the vanilla merchant screen.
- Uses separated server-side and client-side logic to reduce visual bugs, sync issues, and duplication problems.
- Multiple configurable features

With it, you can use the convenience of Easy Villagers without losing what makes MCA villagers unique. Your villagers keep their appearance, traits, relationships, family data, and identity even after being stored as items or used inside Easy Villagers blocks.

This mod does not include or redistribute Minecraft Comes Alive Reborn or Easy Villagers. Both mods are required separately.
Back up your world before installing or updating mods, especially if you already have villagers stored inside Easy Villagers blocks.
