v0.1.6 — 2026-10-09 · 1.20.1 / Forge (MCA 7.7+) — alpha, new build
A second 1.20.1 Forge build, for MCA 7.7 and newer. MCA renamed its package from forge.net.mca to forge.net.conczin.mca in 7.7, and package names are written into the source, so a single jar cannot cover both. This is the build for 7.7+; the other 1.20.1 jar (MCA 7.6.26 – 7.6.28-beta.10) is unchanged and still ships separately.
- Same feature set as the 7.6 build, minus the emote feature below.
- Emote-driven physics is inactive in this build. That feature depends on Townstead, and Townstead cannot load on MCA 7.7 yet — its mixins still target the old package. When Townstead is absent the two emote rows are hidden in the editor, so there are no dead controls. Once Townstead supports MCA 7.7, this same jar picks the feature up again with no rebuild.
- Gene names are stored per MCA version, so appearance values do not carry over between the 7.6 and the 7.7 build of this mod.
Supported MCA versions: 7.7.0 – 7.7.x (below 7.8). Tested on 7.7.1-beta.3. Requires Minecraft 1.20.1 / Forge 47.0.0+. Both client and server must install this mod.
