Glass Outline Hider

Glass Outline Hider removes the block selection outline (the wireframe box) when you are looking at glass, so transparent builds stay visually clean while you still get the normal outline on other blocks.

Features

Hides the selection outline only while targeting blocks that count as glass (see below).
Toggle on or off without removing the mod: use Cloth Config to enable or disable the behavior.
Mod Menu support: if you have Mod Menu installed, open this mod’s config screen from the mods list.

Configuration

Install Cloth Config (required).
Open the config for Glass Outline Hider:
- Through Mod Menu → Mods → Glass Outline Hider → Config, or
- Your launcher’s usual way to open mod configs if you use another integration.
Option: Hide selection outline on glass — when enabled, outlines are hidden for glass-like blocks; when disabled, vanilla behavior returns for all blocks.

Config is stored under your instance’s config folder for mod id glass_outline_hider.

What counts as “glass”?

The mod treats a block as glass if its registry id path contains the text glass. That covers vanilla glass, stained glass, glass panes, tinted glass, and many modded glass blocks.

Mods that register glass under ids without glass in the path will not be detected unless the pack or another mod changes that; in those rare cases the outline may still show.
