What's new

Hopefully this will be the last update before I begin work on Update 1.1.

The mod will hopefully be in a much more stable state.

MC Dungeons: Reimagined Update 1.0.7.

Bosses:

Arch-Illager:

  • Now uses the glowmask again.

  • The attack goal has been completely rewritten.

  • Standard shooting is now way faster.

  • Teleporting is now slightly faster.

  • Reworked the Summon 4 spell:

    • The mobs can now spawn in multiple different patterns.

  • Mobs summoned by the Arch-Illager now use a different tag:

    • Instead of using “spawned_by_arch_illager”, the tag has been made more specific: “minecraftdungeons:spawned_by_arch_illager_” plus the UUID of that Arch-Illager.

    • The point of this change is to stop other Arch-Illagers from killing the summons of all Arch-Illagers around them upon turning into the Heart of Ender.

  • Illagers summoned by the Arch-Illager no longer drop loot.

  • Instead of the Illager chosen for the summon type applying to all summoned Illagers, the chosen Illager is rerolled with every spawned Illager.

    • To provide more context, if the Arch-Illager spawned 20 Pillagers, and then another mob was added to the lineSummons list in the config, prior to this update all 20 would have either been Pillagers or the other mob.

    • Now, instead of 20 of one mob, each mob that is summoned will result in the chosen mob being rerolled again. So you could have 12 Pillagers and 8 of the other listed mob instead.

    • This applies to all summon types.

  • The Arch-Illager now runs finalizeSpawn on all summons instead of manually giving certain mobs their weapons.

    • This should fix the issue where the Arch-Illager would summon Illagers empty-handed because they weren’t specified in the code that manually gave certain mobs weapons.

    • For example, now if he summons a Conquillager from Goety: The Dark Arts, the Conquillager will now be equipped with the crossbow, unlike before.

Redstone Monstrosity:
The Redstone Sentries and the associated attack, as well as the stun, have been removed from the fight entirely.

  • Developers Note: This change was made for two reasons: One, the Redstone Sentries have only caused me annoyance and pain (and for many of you who have experienced the crashes, probably), and two, I honestly don’t like them in the fight. They don’t work well.

The Redstone Monstrosity now emits the Redstone Rune particles when he is in the second phase.

Mega Bombs shot by the Redstone Monstrosity now split into 2 scatter bombs each.

Redstone lasers shot by Redstone Monstrosity-fired Mega Bombs now deal 50% more damage (1.5 HP per tick -> 2 HP per tick).

The Redstone Monstrosity now gets back to attacking quicker after performing the phase change roar.

Other boss changes:

The Redstone and Mooshroom Monstrosities have had their AOE width expanded to 14 blocks, but the AOE now spawns 2 blocks closer to them.

The Redstone and Mooshroom Monstrosities no longer play the Respawn Anchor charge sound when preparing to smash.

Mobs:

Added Dying Souls:

A new mob that spawns in Soul Sand Valleys that claps, inflicting you with Weakness II for 5 seconds.

They are kind of incomplete, as they currently don’t have any drops.

Wraiths can now spawn in Soul Sand Valleys.

Iceologer Overhaul:

Iceologers now use attack sound instead of Evoker celebrate sound when celebrating.

Ice Chunks are now way faster than before.

Ice Chunks no longer face towards the target, and behave much like they did before 1.0.1, whilst still being killable.

Improved head movement in the idle animation.

Iceologers now strafe around the target if they are not using an ice chunk attack.

Added 2 new magic attacks and 2 melee attacks.

The melee attack attribute of Iceologers has been changed from 0 to 10.

Iceologers now have a death animation.

Reduced Ice Chunk attack cooldown from 100 ticks to 50.

Royal Guard changes:

Fixed Royal Guards using the Villager Celebrate sound instead of the Vindicator celebrating sound when celebrating.

Other Illagers:

Wind Callers and Geomancers no longer use the Evoker Celebrate sound when celebrating.

Summons:

Bound Necromancers are now tinted red again when performing their death animation.

Added Plank Golems:

The fun arrow-shooting golems from Minecraft Legends are back, now able to use their legs for close-ranged hits.

They are also the first mobs to have novelty animations.

Added the First of Oak:

The ancient wooden golem from Minecraft Legends has made it to the mod, equipped with several new attacks.

Currently not accessible in survival (yet).

Other Entities:

Certain projectiles in the game have had their x rotations inverted, so they now face towards the shot direction properly when being shot upward or downward. The projectiles affected by this are as follows:

Obsidian Projectiles (shot by Obsidian Staff).

Mushroom Rockets (shot by Mooshroom Monstrosity).

Necromancer Projectiles (shot by Necromancers and the Bound Necromancer).

Conjured Projectiles (shot by Conjured Slimes and Conjured Slime Allies).

Fiery Shockwaves (shot by Forge Cores, although this will visually have no change because shockwaves are not fired upward nor downward).

Arch Projectiles (shot by the Arch-Illager and Relic of the Arch-Illager).

Regeneration Souls (the ones spawned by Corrupted Cauldron minions– and your summons if you have the Cauldron Chestplate) have been remodeled and retextured to look better and more like Dungeons.

Items:

Many of the special texts that appeared when using certain items are now translatable and no longer hard-coded into the item.

The Cauldron Helmet now matches the Cauldron Armor from Minecraft Dungeons.
Added the Cauldron Chestplate:

The final piece of the Cauldron set, summons who are killed drop regeneration souls that heal 1% of your HP when they come into contact with you. It also raises the regeneration level to II if you have the helmet equipped.

The Obsidian Staff now displays text if the player tries to use it whilst recharging.

Fixed the Cauldron Helmet recipe being unlocked when you acquire a monstrous ingot instead of a Cauldron Shard.

Added the Wooden Staff:

An early game staff made of 3 logs, a plank, and an iron ingot.

It summons forth up to 6 Plank Golems to fight for you.

Added Spawn Eggs for the Runic Obsidian Pillar and Obsidian Boulder Golem.

Holiday Implementations:

The Arch-Illager now uses a different texture if it is during the month of October (Halloween-themed) or the month of December (Christmas-themed).

The bossbar also updates to match.

Minor changes:

Changed the name of the mod in-game (the name visible inside of the Mods tab) from “Minecraft Dungeons: Reimagined” to “MC Dungeons: Reimagined”.

Bug Fixes:
Fixed a crash that could occur if a Mega Bomb exploded with a null owner.

Fixed crashes that could occur with multiple projectiles if the owner disappeared before the projectile hit an entity.

Fixed a crash that could occur if the Redstone Sentry’s owner disappeared whilst they were sending particles.

Fixed a potential crash that could occur if the summon count specified in the config was set to a number equal to or below 0.

  • If this is the case the summon count is set back to the default value to prevent the crash.

Fixed a crash that could occur if the summon list for a summon of the Arch-Illager is empty.

  • If this is the case the attack is canceled altogether. In theory you could cancel the Arch-Illager summoning at all now because of this.
