Overgeared meets Mazu's Furnaces. Everything Overgeared did in the vanilla furnace and blast furnace now runs in Mazu's kilns, bloomeries and forges, so both mods work together in the same world.

Heated Ingots
Ingots still come from the bloomery, and the bloomery or the Iron Furnace is also where you reheat them for the anvil. .

Steel
Steel keeps Overgeared’s layout of three iron ingots and one coal, but the furnace needs fuel in a separate slot to burn.

Netherite
The Nether Forge takes the place of the Nether Alloy Furnace. Keeping the Vanilla recipe, melt into a heated netherite alloy, ready to be forged into an ingot on the anvil.

Tool Casts
Fire clay casts in the Pit Kiln or the Clay Kiln. The bloomery, the Iron Furnace and the Nether Forge gain a cast slot. Hoppers can feed the slot.

Every recipe follows Mazu's Furnaces' rules: it needs a minimum temperature, and the fuel decides how hot the furnace can get.
| Recipe | Needs | Where |
|---|---|---|
| Firing a clay cast | 600 °C | Pit Kiln, Clay Kiln |
| Reheating silver / copper | 650 / 700 °C | Bloomery, Iron Furnace |
| Reheating iron | 900 °C | Bloomery, Iron Furnace |
| Reheating crude steel / steel | 1000 °C | Bloomery, Iron Furnace |
| Casting and recycling gold / copper | 1064 / 1085 °C | Bloomery, Iron Furnace, Nether Forge |
| Casting and recycling iron | 1100 °C | Bloomery, Iron Furnace, Nether Forge |
| Crude steel, casting and recycling steel | 1150 °C | Bloomery, Iron Furnace (casting and recycling also in the Nether Forge) |
| Reheating netherite alloy | 1500 °C | Nether Forge |
| Netherite alloy | 1700 °C | Nether Forge |
A bloomery burning coal reaches 1200 °C, so it covers everything up to steel. The new recipes show up in each furnace's Recipes tab, and clicking one lays the ingredients out in the right slots.

- The Alloy Furnace, the Nether Alloy Furnace and the Casting Furnace are crafted from a blast furnace, which Mazu's Furnaces removes. Their jobs move to the bloomery, the Iron Furnace and the Nether Forge.
- Mazu's Furnaces' own rule still holds: the Pit Kiln and the Clay Kiln never work metal. They only fire the clay casts.
- Turn the vanilla furnace back on in Mazu's Furnaces' config and Overgeared's furnaces work as usual, side by side with these recipes.
