This painting makes me feel like it already is in the vanilla game, it just looks so good! Zetterstrand loves using characters in his art, and this one also features a little person! It's wonderful.
These are a fire related painting, and an abstract blue that is very reminiscent of other vanilla paintings. While trying to place the modded ones, i had a hard time remembering which ones were modded or vanilla!
Another 4x2 painting! These two little boulders are really cute, it would be adorable in a little winter house
Is it a golden man? A fruit? You can decide!! The dark colors contrast nicely in any home :)
This one is like the painting where the sun is going down, except this time the sun is already up! It's a cute little contrast, and it looks nice too :)
I like how this one is a block :) It looks so rad! We need more blocky paintings in vanilla Minecraft.
This rad mountain painting is great if you have a mountain home! (And it will be even better once Caves and Cliffs is out!)
this is another one of the tall and skinny ones. It fits good in homes! I think it looks really good :)
This dark to bright painting is just lovely in my opinion. It wasn't placed tooooo well in this screenshot, but I promise it looks great in any home!
This painting is really cute. It looks both like a ship, and an easel. It's all up to your imagination!
These are also a bit darker themed. As you can see, they even somewhat go together! They are perfect incorporations to your houses or builds.
This is an abstract lighthouse painting. I like this one because even though you have the general shape visible, it still leaves a lot to the imagination :)
This is another cool 4x2 painting! I always imagine cool paintings like this being above someone's fireplace :)
These are personally some of my all-time favorites in the mod. They look so minecraft-y!! As you can see, they fit into any home :)
This one is one of my favorites! It's not too flashy, but it's still pretty and feels like it would be found in an old building.
There aren't many paintings that have pastel colors like this, so I thought I just had to put one in!
A lovely painting. I love the block in this one again, it really gives you a certain feeling when you place it in your home and look at it.

Welcome to the Vanilla Friendly Paintings mod! This mod adds 20 completely new paintings to the game, all sourced from Kristoffer Zetterstrand, the creator of the original Minecraft paintings.
The charm to these is that they aren't hyper detailed, each one is true to the original style. 1x1 paintings have a 16x16 texture, 1x2 have a 16x32 texture, etc.
Check out the image section for some examples! It is a must-use for a vanilla-friendly playthrough. If there are any questions, post them below and i'll try to help :)
