When many items drop simultaneously, they are compressed into a "matter cluster" to reduce entity lag and give players a recovery window. It is not a backpack or permanent storage.

- Automatic Compression — Large quantities of dropped items are automatically compressed into a matter cluster.
- Container Priority — When a container is nearby, the matter cluster prioritizes inserting items into it.
- Player Retrieval — When a player approaches the matter cluster, items are gradually returned to the player's inventory.
- Temporary Retention — Empty matter clusters persist briefly to continue receiving nearby drops.
