Mde i have used your mod to pregen my Age of Engineering modpack server, but after doing "/mde pregen start 0 0 -100 -100" it finishes pregenerating it, i restart the ftb server and when i keep loading chunks close to 0 0 (that wasn't generated before the command) it gets lagging i've seen people saying it's because of the lightning, any way to fix this? Any tip?
Can this be used on single player worlds? I tried to run the pregen, it says the pregen had started but nothing was generated. The command I used was /mde pregen start serranopancake 100 1000
This can be used on singleplayer worlds, but all the output for the generation goes to the game's console which gets closed on game start by default. If you want to monitor the progress, you'll need to set that to not close on game start and you'll need to leave the game running and unpaused for the entire pregeneration duration.
What are the chances of making this server side only. It makes it hard to make mod packs and have things like this installed that require the client have it also for no real reason.
This mod has client side and helper code for some of my other mods (TelePacks, MobDropOres, etc) so making it a server side only mod for the sole purpose of the commands is not likely.
You can install MDECore to generate the world and remove it afterwords, it doesn't have anything that modifies the world without my other mods installed and you may find some of the other commands it provides useful.
Do you plan to support specific dimensions when using /mde pregen? I know you could probably stand in the dimension then run it, but it would be useful if I could do it from the console. In case it's already been implemented in 1.11, I'm on 1.10.2.
The pregeneration should work without problem on any correctly configured server able to run modded MC without lag. The fact that it is crashing likely means that your server is underpowered and you should upgrade your server or hosting package or make sure the server has enough resources. If you still require a pregenerated world I would recommend pregenerating the world on your client (if it is more beefy) or another computer that can handle the pregeneration and uploading it to the server.

Is there a way to see the current output of how many chunks loaded ingame? I only can see that in the console of the server.

"/mde regen" Doesn't seem to be a valid command.
/mde regen was temporarily removed in 1.10 & 1.11 until I can find a way to regenerate the chunks that does not require rebooting the server.

This was implemented in 1.10.2-1.5.1.
The holiday gift is delivered on every game load. Hardly worth farming for 3 gold nuggets per, but still rates an "Ahem".
This is fixed in 1.11-1.0.
