# MAN OF TOMORROW
### The Superman mod Minecraft has been waiting for

Put on the suit and become the Man of Tomorrow. This is the most complete Superman experience ever built for Minecraft Java:
- flight with sonic booms and superhero landings;
- heat vision that sets things on fire, scorches the ground and slices enemies apart;
- freezing ice breath and hurricane-force super breath;
- punches that send mobs flying across the map, cinematic combos and brutal finishers;
- time manipulation;
- a solar nova that turns into a second sun and leaves a 50-block crater;
- LexCorp's private army: armed soldiers and a giant combat mech.

Every power comes with hand-made animations, cinematic cameras and high-resolution 3D suits.

## Powers

| Key | Power | What it does |
|---|---|---|
| **G** | Flight | Hold Space for a charged take-off, hover, cruise and boost speeds, banking and head-first dives, a sonic boom when you break the sound barrier, and a three-point superhero landing with the cape settling over your back. |
| **R** | Heat Vision | Hold to fire: the eyes themselves glow red-hot and cool back down afterwards. Hold the beam on one spot for 2 seconds to set it on fire; sweep it across the ground to leave molten, smoking scorch marks. Double-tap and hold for the stronger **Laser Blast** — hold it for 10 seconds and Superman's face strains, veins glow around his eyes and he roars. In cutting mode the beam slices limbs off or cuts enemies in half. |

| **C** | Ice Breath | A swirling freezing mist: enemies become ice statues and frost creeps over the ground. |
| **B** | Super Breath | Hurricane-force wind that hurls mobs, leaves and debris away and shatters frozen enemies. |
| **X** | X-Ray Vision | See through walls. |
| **V** | Super Punch | Hold to charge (20–100 damage), release to send enemies flying dozens of blocks and blast craters into the ground. Tap for rapid boxing jabs. |
| **H** | Thunder Clap | One clap, one shockwave: it rips up the ground and throws everything in front of you. |
| **J** | Grab & Throw | Grab an enemy by the collar, lift it off the ground and throw it far away. |
| **M** | Move Wheel | Tap to perform the selected move, hold to open a radial wheel. No cooldowns. |
| | ↳ Combo | Launch, chase into the air, a flurry of hits and a ground-shaking slam. |
| | ↳ Uplift | Dash to a distant target, uppercut it into the sky, then hold it there with a 3-second Laser Blast. Works on anything, bosses included. |
| | ↳ Uplift Combo | Uppercut, fly above the target, hammer it into the ground, then hover over the crater and fire a Laser Blast that grows until it explodes. |
| | ↳ Finisher: Chokehold | Lift the enemy by the throat, burn its face with heat vision, and its head bursts. |
| | ↳ Finisher: Eye Pierce | Two beams straight through the enemy's eyes and out the back of its head. Against giants, Superman flies up and grabs them by the collar. |
| **Z** | Slow Time | The world slows to a crawl (mobs, arrows, even the rain) while you move at full speed. |
| **N** | Super Speed | Run four times faster. |
| **U** | Solar Nova | Superman curls up, glows like the sun, bursts open with his arms raised to the sky — and a second sun swallows a 50-block area. |

Every key can be changed in *Options → Controls*.

## Solar energy
Superman's powers run on solar energy.
- It recharges on its own.
- It recharges **four times faster** when you fly above **Y 250** in sunlight. Up there Superman slowly takes on a golden aura that only fades once you come back down.

Energy use can be turned off in the config.

## Three suits, all in 3D — now with heads
- **Superman (2025):** 4K textures with sculpted 3D relief, a two-layer cape with real cloth physics, and an HD head with the 2025 film's side-parted curl.
- **Absolute Superman:** glossy black with molten forearms and shins. When he fires a Laser Blast, the lava on his arms and the slashes at his hips blaze white-hot. Wavy, flowing hair.
- **Black Suit:** chainmail-textured black with silver trim, a charcoal cape and a neat slicked-back hairstyle.

Each suit has four pieces (head, chest, legs, boots):
- All of them can be crafted, and they are in the Superman creative tab.
- Wear all four (mixing is allowed) to unlock the powers.
- Command: `/superman suit`, `/superman suit absolute`, `/superman suit black`.

## Enemies
- **LexCorp soldiers:** riot gear, AK-47s and M4A1s. Their bullets spark and ricochet off Superman — but not off anyone else. Command: `/superman lexsquad`.
- **LexCorp LX-08 mech:** a 6.5-block walker with an autocannon, a claw and a missile pod. Hold your heat vision on its armour and the plates glow red-hot; bring it down and it collapses like a broken machine. Command: `/superman lexmech`.
- **The Superman Clone:** a masked, darker Superman with its own fighting AI and all of Superman's animations and effects. It has 75% of your power and takes damage like a player.

Natural spawning of soldiers and the mech is off by default (turn it on in the config).

## Built with care
- Smooth Player Animator animations for every move, with matching facial expressions.
- Cinematic cameras for Uplift, combos and finishers.
- A cape with cloth physics.
- A vertical skill bar and an energy bar.
- An in-game config screen.
- Multiplayer and LAN support (the same mod version on the server and every client).

## Requirements
- Minecraft Java **1.20.1**
- Forge **47.4.10** or newer
- **Player Animator** (required, 1.0.2 for 1.20.1)
- **bendy-lib** (required, 4.0.x)

Install Superman Rise on the server and on every client. Player Animator and bendy-lib are only needed on clients.
