Make My Game Run Well

Configure Minecraft’s performance settings for your computer with one click.

Open Options and click Make My Game Run Well. The mod detects your hardware, applies suitable performance settings, and saves them immediately.

Features

• Hardware-based tuning using your CPU, graphics card, RAM, allocated Minecraft memory, resolution, and display refresh rate.
• Automatic performance settings covering render distance, simulation distance, particles, clouds, shadows, texture filtering, and more.
• Restore previous settings whenever you want, including after restarting Minecraft.
• Preserves personal preferences such as controls, mouse sensitivity, FOV, audio, and accessibility settings.

Compatibility

Available for Minecraft Java Edition 26.2 on Fabric and NeoForge.

Tested with Sodium 0.9.2 and Lithium 0.25.3 on both loaders. Neither mod is required.

Make My Game Run Well adjusts Minecraft’s settings without changing other mods’ configuration files. Mod-specific options and shader settings are not automatically configured.

Requirements

• Java 25
• Fabric: Fabric Loader 0.19.3+ and Fabric API 0.161.0+ for Minecraft 26.2
• NeoForge: NeoForge 26.2.0.93+ for Minecraft 26.2

Install the jar matching your loader in your client’s mods folder. Servers do not need this mod.

How to Use

1. Open Minecraft’s Options menu.
2. Click Make My Game Run Well.
3. Your performance settings are applied and saved immediately.

Click Restore to recover your settings from before the first application. Repeated clicks preserve that original backup until you restore it.

Hardware detection provides a starting point rather than a measured benchmark. Performance will vary with your world, resource packs, shaders, and installed mods.
