Majestic Terrain

The Overworld was generated before this mod existed? Expect visible borders where the old terrain ends. Majestic Terrain rewrites the Overworld's own climate and relief — it belongs in a new world, from the very first chunk.

What's new

v0.0.0-beta.10 - Both buildings, in every grove

Fixed

  • The Silverwood Ring and the Moonwatch did not appear in every Silverwood Grove. Their placement picked one random spot per huge area without looking at the biome, and the grove covers only a small share of the world in small patches, so the spot almost never fell inside one. Both now choose their spot inside the grove itself, so a grove that is big enough gets its Ring and its Moonwatch.

Notes

  • Measured on a real dedicated server over 43 grove patches: the Ring is now found near 30 of them and the Moonwatch near 30 (both near 25), against 0 and 1 before. The remaining patches are too small to hold any building.
  • You will see more buildings: roughly one of each per 380 blocks of grove, so a large grove can have several. Chunks that were already generated do not change.
  • Requires Expedition Core 0.0.0-beta.8 (was beta.7), Majestic Core 0.0.0-beta.4, Majestic Bestiary 0.0.0-beta.12 and Vellumli 1.0.0.
  • Untested on foot in-game; checked on a dedicated server with /locate.
