Majestic Structures

Majestic Structures rebuilds the Overworld's vanilla structures in the Majestic style, starting with the mineshafts: the Order's old workings, dug by the creatures of the Majestic Bestiary. Every replacement can be switched off from the config.

What's new

v0.0.0-beta.7 - The mineshaft, redesigned ("Celestial Mine")

Changed

  • All 8 mineshaft pieces were redrawn at vanilla scale. The old pieces were huge hollow boxes with no visible walls. Corridors are now 3 wide and 3 high, rooms are at most 7x7 inside, and every piece has real walls, timber posts and a ceiling.
  • New look, vanilla blocks. Dark oak timber frames, plank walkways with rails, deepslate brick walls, hanging lanterns and soul lanterns, cobwebs, amethyst crystals and blue banners at the crossing. When Majestic Core has its own blocks the palette will be swapped without touching the layout.
  • Connectors moved to floor level so doorways are clear.
  • Mineshaft size (size) lowered from 14 to 10 and the piece weights rebalanced, so a mine has roughly 50 pieces on average.

Removed

  • No more Majestic Bestiary creatures in the mineshaft. The structure spawn overrides and the bestiary spawners are gone. The only spawner left is the vanilla cave spider spawner in the cobweb corridor.

Known issues

  • Not verified in-game yet. Only validated with the workshop layout simulator and a successful build.
  • The multi-level shaft with galleries and bridges from the concept art is not in this version.
