Majestic Bestiary (0.0.0-beta.16)
Curse Maven Snippet
What's new
v0.0.0-beta.16 - Detail pass on all nineteen
For Minecraft 1.21.1 / NeoForge 21.1.249.
Changed
- Every creature got a second detail pass. The whole roster was reworked with the workshop: more geometry where the models were thin, texture budgets brought into a consistent 10-47 % UV band, and no creature left as a placeholder.
- Floating ornaments fixed. The Arcane Mage's hat tip, both tips of the Centaur's bow and the Dire Wolf's ear stud used to hang in mid-air (2-5 px), the Tauren's head studs hovered in front of the muzzle, and the Celestial Guardian's halo was a dotted ring with 1.8 px gaps. All of it now touches the body.
- The Draconid carries a double axe — a blade head at both ends of the haft, held one-handed — and its shield is bigger and covers the torso. Its attack is now a swing arc instead of a rigid pole.
- Curved bows for the Elf and the Centaur, with proper nocks. The Elf's shot reads nock - draw - release, and the string vibrates after the release.
- Arms and hands. The Forest Priestess's arms were single cubes; she now has puffed sleeves and fingers. The Sky Stalker gets shoulder pauldrons, gold bracers and an extra feather per wing.
- Textures raised to 256x256 for the Dire Wolf, the Celestial Swordsman, the Demon Knight and the Forest Priestess (the two dungeon bosses inherit it). The Dire Wolf was the tightest model in the roster at 62 % texture occupancy.
Notes
Animation lengths and every
impactmarker are unchanged, so the timing the mod reads is exactly what it was. Assets validated by the workshop: 0 coplanar overlaps, feet at y = 0, zero floating cubes, on all nineteen. Not tested in game yet.
