KEY MATERIALS

• Seven new looks for a key, next to the original one: obsidian, grass, stone, light, magma block, copper block and spruce planks.
• The light key lays a white veil over its icon when the pointer reaches it, so the key reads as lit rather than merely bright.
• Colours apply to the original key and to the light key. The other materials keep their own surface, which is the point of picking them.

EDITOR

• A live preview of the key sits in the editor, showing the material, the colour and the icon together. It answers to the pointer like the real thing, and clicking it changes nothing.
• Material and colour are chosen from their own drop-down, each showing the key itself rather than a name.

OPENING

• The deck opens diagonally, the keys arriving one after another from the first corner to the last, in about a fifth of a second.
• Icons and labels ride with their key from the first frame of that movement, on every supported version.

ALSO

• A new logo, and the fifty builds of this release carry exactly the same features, from Minecraft 1.18.2 to 26.2.
