Description
A client-side PvP mod that automatically swaps to the best Mace when you hit an enemy while falling, then swaps back. Made for servers where client-side PvP mods are allowed.
Features
- Attribute swap on hit: the swap happens at the moment you hit, so you don’t have to select the Mace first. Works with a Spear in hand and uses the Spear’s reach (default 4.5 blocks) to pick the target.
- Smart Swap: estimates your fall distance at impact and calculates the expected damage of every Mace in your hotbar against the target’s armor. Long falls favor Density, jump crits and short falls against armor favor Breach.
- Mace Swap: the same auto-selection, without the extra settings.
- Breach Swap: only swaps to a Breach Mace, and only against armored targets.
- Stay on Breach after hit: after a Breach hit in the air, you stay on the Breach Mace so you can go into a sword and Breach combo. Other Maces swap back to your previous weapon.
- Priority list for Mace setups (Breach, Density, Wind Burst, plain), used as a tie-breaker.
- Configuration screen with toggles and sliders for fall distance, downward speed, target distance, timing and spear reach. Settings are saved between sessions.
- HUD indicator showing the active mode, plus an optional debug line that explains why a swap didn’t happen.

- Fabric API 0.161.0+26.2
- Java 25
Put maceswap-1.0.0.jar and Fabric API into your mods folder. Keep only one Mace Swap file there.
Notes
- The Mace must be in your hotbar. The mod only swaps while you are falling.
- The mod is client-side only. Use it only on servers that allow client-side PvP mods and automation.
- Whether the server accepts a hit at Spear reach with a Mace depends on the server and version.
