Mac Pipe Fix
Makes fluid visible inside Create's glass fluid pipes on macOS again, without turning off Flywheel.
On Macs, Create's glass (windowed) fluid pipes show up empty when fluid flows through them: you can see drip particles, but nothing inside the glass. The usual workaround, /flywheel backend flywheel:off, fixes the pipes but turns off Flywheel's instanced rendering for everything. Busy bases, trains, and copycat-heavy builds then take a big FPS hit.
This mod fixes the pipes and leaves the rest of Flywheel alone.
How it works
The bug lives in the Flywheel-instanced path Create uses to draw fluid inside glass pipes, and that path misbehaves on Apple's OpenGL implementation. On startup, Mac Pipe Fix removes the Flywheel visual for glass fluid pipes only. Create's standard block entity renderer then draws the pipes, and that renderer works fine on macOS. Everything else keeps using Flywheel instancing.
- Client-side only. Servers don't need it, and players without it can still join.
- Does nothing on Windows or Linux. It's safe to include in a cross-platform modpack.
- No mixins, no patching. It uses Flywheel's public API and touches no Create or Flywheel code.
- Negligible performance cost. Only glass pipes switch renderers.
Requirements
- Minecraft 1.20.1 (Forge)
- Create 6.x
- Flywheel 1.0.x
Configuration
config/macpipefix.properties is created on first launch:

Changes take effect on the next launch.
Notes
Tested on Apple Silicon. Intel Macs are affected by the same bug and should benefit too. If Create fixes this upstream, you can simply remove the mod.
