Description
Hello, I am Alovon.
With the recent advent of Emmsiives in shaders, SEUS PTGI, and other Path Traced MC shaders, builders in MC have gotten the ability to set the tone of their builds with each block having its own color of light.
- However, there are some flaws in this at the present moment.
- -There are only so many light sources in Minecraft, and all of them fall generally under the same light range in regards to color, the only outliers being Sea Lanterns and Soul Fire/Lanterns/Campfires in 1.16.
- -Shaders like PTGI at the present moment don't have much mod support to let creators mod in their own blocks to give them the range of colored light sources they could have.
- -Non-Path Traced shaders require a Resource pack with emissive mapping to work.
So, I'm here to try to make a solution to this. Introducing Luminescence+
On the surface, this mod is simple, just adding 12 color variations of all the existing light sources within Minecraft.
However, the thing that will make this mod special, is that I am working hard to help it have as much support as possible, and be as extensive as possible in order to let builders better put their ideas in Minecraft.
To solve this, I have made a Resourcepack, that goes alongside the mod that can be found at the link here. The zip from that download also includes an edited block.properties file for PTGI users to put in their copy of SEUS PTGI E12.
Note, the resource pack will override any existing specular maps for other resource packs for vanilla textures if you have it loaded above others, so keep this in mind before reporting issues about blocks losing reflectivity.etc
