LUMI.exe is a psychological horror mod based on my own indie game LUMI.exe. LUMI is a girl who has been living alone in your world. She greets you from the very first second, she talks to you, she reads what you write in chat, and she tells you about the three players who came before you and tried to save her.

She is kind. At first.

This mod brings LUMI from my psychological horror game into Minecraft. In the original LUMI.exe, she lives on a fake desktop, plays with you, and drags you into The Hallways and The House… and she breaks the fourth wall in ways a mod can't.

🩸 What's inside

Three personalities. LUMI is not always the same. The Kind one wants to be your friend. The Cruel one doesn't want you to leave. The Shadow one… just watches. All three remember different versions of what happened.

She understands your chat. Talk to her in Spanish or English. Ask her who she is, what happened to Mateo, Sofi and Alex, tell her your name, tell her what you like, tell her you're leaving. She remembers.

Three places she will take you.

• The Void — a flat, silent world with abandoned houses, graves and a boat that was never finished.
• The Memory — a world stuck in an eternal night. Abandoned houses, a chapel, a well, a graveyard, corrupted signs. Walk near them and LUMI tells you what happened there.
• Hide and Seek — a dark maze. She counts to nine. Find the exit before she finds you.

Abandoned places. Detailed houses with broken windows, holes in the roof, notes from the previous players, blood trails and things that weren't there a minute ago.

Psychological terror. Crosses and red torches that appear out of nowhere, footsteps behind you, whispers, items moved around, a heartbeat when she's close, "LUMI is typing…" on your screen.

Screamers and system failures. Jumpscares, fake errors, a fake blue screen… and she decides when it's day, night or raining.

She knows who you are. LUMI may call you by your computer's user name. (See Warnings below.)

Every world is a new story. Your progress with LUMI is saved per world. Start a new world and she meets you again for the first time… or does she?

⚠️ Warnings — please read

• Flashing lights and loud jumpscares. Not recommended for people with photosensitive epilepsy or heart conditions.
• Fake errors. All crashes, errors and the blue screen are fake and happen inside the game. Nothing touches your system or your files.
• The game can close. In the final phase, LUMI may save your world and then close Minecraft. It only happens in singleplayer, at most once every 90 minutes of play. Disable it with "realGameClose": false.
• Your computer's user name. The mod reads your Windows/system user name only on your own PC to show it in game. It is never sent anywhere — not to a server, not to the internet. Disable it with "useComputerName": false.
• No internet, no real AI. LUMI's dialogue comes from a local phrase generator inside the mod. Nothing is uploaded or collected.

🎮 Commands

There are /lumi commands for content creators and testing. They require cheats enabled (or operator on servers). We recommend playing without them for the full experience.

Best played alone, at night, with headphones. Designed for singleplayer. Multiplayer servers are not officially supported.

Te saluda desde el primer segundo, habla contigo, lee lo que escribes en el chat y te cuenta sobre los tres jugadores que vinieron antes que tú e intentaron salvarla.

Es amable. Al principio.

• Tres personalidades: la Amable, la Cruel y la Sombra. Cada una recuerda una versión distinta de lo que pasó.
• Entiende tu chat: háblale en español o inglés. Pregúntale por Mateo, Sofi y Alex, dile tu nombre, dile lo que te gusta. Lo recuerda.
• Tres lugares a los que te llevará: El Vacío, El Recuerdo (noche eterna, casas abandonadas, capilla, cementerio) y Las Escondidas (un laberinto donde ella cuenta hasta nueve).
• Terror psicológico: apariciones, susurros, pasos, sangre, cruces que aparecen de la nada.
• Screamers y fallas del sistema: errores falsos, pantalla azul falsa, y ella decide cuándo es de día, de noche o llueve.
• Cada mundo es una historia nueva: tu progreso con Lumi se guarda en cada mundo.

Avisos: luces parpadeantes y sustos fuertes. Todos los errores son falsos y no tocan tu PC. El cierre del juego guarda tu mundo primero, solo pasa en un jugador y se desactiva con "realGameClose": false. El nombre de usuario de tu PC se lee solo en tu computador y nunca se envía a ningún lado; se desactiva con "useComputerName": false. El mod no usa internet ni una IA real.

Comandos: existen comandos /lumi para creadores de contenido; necesitan trucos activados. Recomendamos jugar sin ellos.
