Description
Lumberjack Worker – Forge 1.20.1
Lumberjack Worker is a Minecraft Forge 1.20.1 mod that allows you to turn a villager into an autonomous lumberjack worker.
The lumberjack works for you: it searches for nearby natural trees, walks to them, and then cuts down the entire tree, including the trunk, branches, and leaves. The collected logs, saplings, and apples are automatically stored in nearby chests or barrels.

How to Use
Hold an axe in your main hand, then Shift + Right Click on an adult villager.
The villager will become a lumberjack worker and begin working in the surrounding area.
Place one or more chests or barrels nearby so the worker has somewhere to store collected resources.
After that, you can continue mining, building, exploring, or doing anything else while the Lumberjack Worker handles tree cutting automatically.
Warning
⚠️ Important information before using Lumberjack Worker
-
The mod automatically removes natural trees, so it is recommended to keep lumberjack workers away from wooden buildings, log houses, and important wooden decorations.
-
Although the mod attempts to recognize player-built structures, it cannot be guaranteed to correctly identify every unusual or modded wooden structure.
-
It is strongly recommended to create a backup of your world before using the mod, especially in important survival worlds or large modpacks.
-
Lumberjack workers only work inside loaded chunks. If you travel far enough away for the area to unload, the worker will temporarily stop.
-
For modded trees to work correctly, their logs and leaves should be properly included in Minecraft's
logsandleavestags. -
When the lumberjack's axe breaks, it stops working and requires a new axe. After receiving one, it resumes the unfinished job.
-
If every nearby chest or barrel is full, the worker stops. Add another storage container or free some space and it will automatically continue.
-
Do not keep multiple different versions of Lumberjack Worker inside your
modsfolder at the same time. -
The mod is designed for Minecraft 1.20.1 with Forge. Compatibility with other Minecraft versions or mod loaders is not guaranteed.
Creating a backup of your world before using the mod is highly recommended.
