Overview
Lovely Robot: Legacy is the current-generation companion mod. Craft a robot, give her a name, bring her along — and watch what happens when you actually spend time together.
Several robot types. Sixteen colours each. A levelling system, combat specialisations, and a protection mechanic that scales with the bond you've built. Legacy is the version most players know, now rebuilt from the ground up on a clean multi-loader foundation.
It's vanilla-friendly, but it rewards players who go deep.

How This Differs from the Original
The original Lovely Robot by lilacx02 was a 1.12.2 Forge mod with four robot types and basic companion behaviour. Lovely Robot: Legacy is a full rebuild for modern Minecraft that adds:
- Four additional robot types (Dragon, Neko, Kitsune, Bunny3)
- 16-colour dye palette across all types
- Levelling system with type-specific caps
- Protection system with damage type resistance and enchantment integration
- Smart Core Retrieval on death
- Base defense scan with four patrol patterns
- Multi-loader support (Fabric, Forge, NeoForge)
- Cross-version save migration from 1.12.2 originals
The robots look like the originals because that was the intent — to continue and expand lilacx02's work. The underlying code and systems are a complete rebuild.
