🎉 First Release: LootScope v1.0.0

We're excited to announce the first public release of LootScope – a lightweight client-side mod that makes looting and exploration in Minecraft more efficient and enjoyable!

✨ What's included

• 🔍 Zoom – hold R to zoom in like a spyglass.
• ☀️ Brightness boost – press B to toggle a bright overlay for dark caves and nights.
• 💀 Death compass – automatically tracks your last death and shows direction, distance, and world (Overworld/Nether/End). Toggle with G.
• 📦 Chest preview – aim at any chest to see its contents without opening it (cache updates on open/close).
• 👁️ Preview hide – press F6 to hide the preview overlay (toggle back anytime).

All controls are fully rebindable in the game's Controls menu under the key.categories.lootscope category.

📥 Installation

1. Make sure you have Minecraft Forge 1.21.1 (or compatible) installed.
2. Download the LootScope-v1.0.0.jar file from the attachments below.
3. Place the .jar into your mods folder.
4. Launch the game.

⚠️ Known issues

• Chest preview cache may not update correctly when a chest is broken while open (fixed in next version).
• Death tracker relies on client-side data; it will not work if you disconnect before respawning (will be improved).
