Lonely Biome is a small mod that allows you to generate single-biome worlds.
This mod was originally created for testing biomes, but altered for use in general gameplay.
Lonely Biome will only alter the Overworld.
For discussion about Lonely Biome, come see us on the Team-RTG Discord
How do I use this???
could you add the feature for disabling some of the biomes you dont like (also modded ones) so you can play for example with just 5 biomes generated
1.16.5 would be nice too. ;-)
In reply to framefisher:
1. The way this mod works only allows for one biome by switching the biome provider of the Overworld with the one that is used in the Nether, which is only a single biome.
2. No one (in their right mind) is updating mods for 1.12 anymore. This mod reached the end of it's life a long time ago and will no longer be receiving updates.
3. In newer versions of Minecraft a single biome world, or a world with only a few biomes, can simply be achieved with a datapack.
In reply to srs_bsns:
I don't know why you'd say that, as 1.12.2 is a favorite for a lot of people, including myself. I've never enjoyed a pack I, or anyone else, has made post 1.12.2.
In reply to srs_bsns:
Could you pls name me any datapacks for this aim?
Would be very nice
TY
Is it compatible wit the Lost Cities mod ?
Could you please update this to 1.16.4
In reply to Forge_User_89190258:
It should be a native feature for 1.16.4 so no mod needed
I have not downloaded the mod, but I want to know. Is there a cave biome in it? And if so, do cave mods work with it? (Cave Biomes, Extended Caves, E.T.C)
Great mod bro!
Is there any way to whitelist more than one biome?
In reply to Forge_User_90923886:
No. This mod works by replacing the biome provider of The Overworld with the one used for The Nether, which only allows one biome.
Why does this exist when you can already do this in vanilla?
In reply to Mummelpuffin:
In Minecraft, choosing the Customized world type with a specific biome will create a world that is exactly the same as the Default world type but only contains that single biome in place of all other land biomes, but the world will still contain oceans and rivers. LonelyBiome creates a world that has no oceans or rivers.
Hello, Can you mabey make this for 1.11? I know the latest version is 1.12 BUT I was planning on using this with Vic's modern warfare mod but that does not work with 1.12 for me so if you could make it for 1.11 please do and bye!
Would you be able to set a world to one biome that has already been made?
Because that would require replacing the entire GUI screen with a custom one which is more work than it is worth, and it would break compatibility with any other mod that also needs to alter that GUI screen. Just use the Mod Config screen, it's why I added a custom GUI Config screen.
All mod-added biomes will be selectable from the config that aren't in one of the blacklisted types (by default, the blacklisted types are: BEACH, RIVER, NETHER, END, VOID).
Why it is impossible to make the opportunity to choose biome in the menu of the creation of the world?
And one more question. How to make the world with one biome from another mod? What you need to register in the file?
ps I use Google translator, so the text can be formulated incorrectly.
It should work with any mod-added biomes.
this work with biomes o plenty?
and/or traverse?
