Loconautics

Loconautics is a Create addon that reimplements trains as physical objects in the world. Instead of Create's default trains, which move through a simulation layer detached from the environment, Sable trains exist as actual sub-levels riding on the tracks. The carriages have real mass, collide with everything around them, and behave like any other physical contraption rather than a ghost passing through the world.

Physics Trains
Sable trains are driven by a Bearing Axle, a new mechanical block that pulls stress directly from your rotational network. Heavier trains demand more from your machines, and speed is configurable per instance. You can check weight, stress impact, network load, and current RPM at a glance using Engineer's Goggles.
Assembly works through the existing Create station screen with a new Assemble as Physics Train option. Carriages need to be glued together with Super Glue or Honey Glue before assembly, bogeys are picked up automatically from within the station's range, and the frontmost carriage requires a Bearing Axle to be driveable.
Driving
The Analog Controller is a block you mount directly to operate the train. It uses a frequency slot system, letting you bind speed and direction inputs to redstone signals or other Create automation. Approaching and departing stations is handled automatically with on-screen prompts while you are in control.
New Blocks and Items
Transmission is a mechanical block for changing the rotational speed within the train assembly.
Knuckle is a coupling block for connecting carriages.
Steel Cable extends the range of rope connectors to twice the normal limit, useful for spanning the longer distances that come with physical train builds.
The Sable Train Relocator lets you reposition an assembled train on the tracks without going through the full disassembly and reassembly process.
